Iraq not safe enough to return refugees

The London office of the UN refugee agency UNHCR has issued a statement contradicting the Home Office’s claim that Iraq is now safe enough to begin deporting refugees back to that country.

The Home Office has been rounding up Iraqi rejected asylum seekers in the UK in preparation for a forced deportation to Iraq.
