Today is my second bloggiversary. Yet to return to Flappy Bird status on the ol’ Ecosystem. Yet to fully see the point of doing all this. Must try harder. Carry on.

Just noticed this – somewhat odd – you started just one day after me… Then again, I didn’t post much (at all) for the first 18 months, and there are over 6 million blogs in the world, so I suppose it’s not actually that amazing…

Surely only part of the blog phenomenon is ruthless self-promotion. The other part is having somewhere to write what you want on a semi-anonymous basis, safe in the knowledge that people are only likely to track you down with a serious amount effort. Of course, it does help if you don’t publish it on your own website.
