‘Parliamentary sketches’ in WaPo
Monday, 20 December 2004, 00:09
The Washington Post has reshuffled its entire White House reporting team, and has moved the skeptical Dana Milbank to a column entited Off Message. According to the Washingtonian, the new column will be an experiement in an unusual genre for American journalism:
Milbank, 36, hopes to model the column after the parliamentary sketches in British newspapers. They are reported columns about the highlights and lowlights of the day’s political parade. Milbank will try to do much the same at the White House and on Capitol Hill.
