Who is this guy?

Martin Stabe is a journalist living in London. He is the new media editor of Press Gazette, the trade magazine for journalists. He also writes the “Fleet Street 2.0” blog and its associated magazine column for Press Gazette.

He has been an intern the London bureau of Newsweek magazine, Governing magazine in Washington, DC, and The Guardian. He has also worked for Palam Communications, a public relations agency specialising in early-stage technology companies.

He studied journalism at City University, political sociology at the London School of Economics, and American politics at Sussex University. He also spent some time at Northwestern University outside Chicago.

Born in Germany in 1979, he moved to Britain in 1997 after spending most of his life in New York, where he graduated from the United Nations International School.

He can frequently be found playing for or helping run the Brighton Buccaneers baseball club.
